Reiki healing can be given to you while you are in the comfort of your own home and even while you are sleeping. You will be able to decide on the time (and place) and it doesn't matter where you are in the world.

Reiki healing helps people with stress, anxiety, depression, build confidence, self worth and general well being. Reiki will help with ailments such as migraines, bad backs, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and many other problems. It can help the body as a whole; the mind, the body and the soul, both mentally and physically.
A Distant Reiki treatment can feel like warm, gentle sunshine which flows through you, surrounds you and comforts you. Reiki treats the person’s body, emotions, mind and spirit as a whole. Reiki is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that everyone can use.
It does not replace or compete with medical treatment.
Reiki is powerful, yet wonderfully gentle and nurturing. Everybody is unique and so each healing session will be different to the next person and by this I mean that they will experience different sensations. If the healing session is to take place during the day, some people feel sleepy even falling asleep usually soon after. It has been reported to me where colours are seen, feeling floating and also changes of temperature (cold or warm) but my favourite is the famous 'tummy rumble'. This tell me that that the energy is beginning to shift and clear up any deep trauma from the Solar Plexus (otherwise known as the storage room) and where we keep our old emotions, pain buried deep deep within. The beauty of Reiki is that it is energy and that means there are no boundaries, so distance is no longer an issue.
The healing will take around 45 mins - an hour - just as if you were lying here with me in person on my therapy bed.
I am repeatedly asked this next question - 'How often should I have Distant Reiki?' and my answer is always the same. We are unique, meaning that we each experience the healing session differently and on deeper levels, so it is very difficult for me to say. You know yourself better than anybody. You will know if you are feeling anxious, low or worried and in need of anther healing session. I will point out however, that most healing sessions will need repeating as each person's issues vary and will depend on the emotional experience and trauma that we are working on, to release.
After Care
After a Distant Reiki healing session you will need to rest in order for the natural balance of your energy to settle. No strenuous exercise. Ensure you drink plenty of water or herbal drinks to aid your body to detoxify. On the day of treatment refrain from drinking any caffeinated drinks such as tea or coffee and try to avoid drinking alcohol. Healing will continue for a couple of days afterwards and in some cases this can be as much as a week. You may experience sensations such as tingling in a problem area, for example an injury. This is the continuation of the healing to rebalance and align your energy. Many people find they are able to sleep better and feel more uplifted after each session, yet for some, they may feel more emotional than usual due to suppressed feelings. The treatment helps clear the body of negative energy and release harmful toxins.
Some ailments require consent from your doctor before healing can be given.
Many doctors now are encouraging their patients to have complementary treatments.
