This is a retreat for women ONLY

Our first retreat will take place in the beautiful and historical Perigord Vert region in the north of the Dordogne, France.

Retreats are not about escaping life, but they are all about fully embracing it!

We are extremely intentional about curating the perfect group of 8 guests for each retreat, to ensure privacy and personal support, providing a safe and non-judgemental experience to reignite your passions into intentions and to help you discover your Avatar.
Kenda Retreats - wow let me take a moment as I absorb it all. I have wanted to host a women’s only retreat for such a long time but it never felt right until one day, a beautiful soul decided to move to France and with her husband bought the most magical property and that was it - I knew from that moment on, we had found the perfect location.

You are invited to join me on this exclusive and inspiring retreat held at the Havre De Paix Gites. Our hosts, Sarah and Mick are dear friends of mine and kindred spirits with a love of nature and stillness, not to forget that Sarah is an amazing chef and will blow you away with the menu choices (see the menu options below!).

What you will receive:

Time and space to reconnect with nature.
Water, tea, coffee served throughout the day.
4 nights accommodation is available in twin sharing rooms in either the Maple Tree or Lime Tree gites.
Half Board (Breakfast and evening meals).
Pre and post retreat support from myself.
Workbook and personal journal for note taking, ideas, inspiration - whatever you fancy.
Daily Meditations including breathwork, guided meditations, mantras and essential oils throughout the day.
Intro kit including 5ml of lemon, lavender and peppermint essential oils.
AromaTouch hand technique workshop. Learn how to apply this beautiful technique (includes oils) taking this home with you to treat your loved ones.
Oil workshops. Learn what essential oils are, how to use them, why you would want to use them and how they can support you emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually.
Art therapy. Using the medium of water paints or pencils, after a mini meditation, you will draw your Avatar for all to see maybe adding crystal chips and other embellishments to express your inner magic. All supplies will be provided.
Mocktail making. Not much need for an explanation here but I will point out that this fun class will be held on one of the evenings. Although we will be teaching a non-alcoholic recipe, options to add alcoholic beverages will be available.
Cooking masterclass. Here we will teach you some simple, yet very tasty meals where some will be incorporating essential oils. This class will be taught by the lovely masterchef Sarah.
Roller blends with crystals workshop. As we explore the connection between the stars, the Western and Chinese zodiac signs and characteristics, we will create a unique roller blend adding crystal chips to enhance the potency already found in the oils to bring out your Avatar. All equipment is provided including the roller bottle, a choice of crystal chips, essential oils and the carrier oil.
Intuitive Coaching. There will be time during the day where you will be free to delve deeper and request some private 1-2-1 coaching with myself.
Enriching Conversations. I encourage you to dig deep and let your Avatar out.
Time alone to reflect. Whether that be sat by the pool soaking in the sun's rays or in chilling the hottub.
Yoga will be an option (payable locally) should you wish to practice. This class will be taught by a lovely local practitioner.
Symphony of Cells. Surrender yourself to the power of the gifts of the earth in the form of a gentle application of the oils to the spine and feet. (payable locally).
Wi-Fi connection - as much as we want you to switch off, we also understand that you have loved ones back at home and may wish to connect with them in your free time.
Transportation during the retreat including collection and return airport transfers.

Sample retreat day

08:30 - Breakfast
09:30 - Guided meditation with Jacqui
10:00 - Instruction on how to write your own 10 minute meditation (inspiration, mood, result etc)
12:00 - Lunch (picnic can be booked in the morning)
13:00 - Free time to complete meditation
15:30 - Gather to hear each others creation
18:00 - evening meal is served
19:30 - Visit the monastery to meditate with the monks

Your stay includes:

Accommodation in the stunning Gites -

Both gites are fully furnished and equipped with all the modern gadgets to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Fresh bed linen, dressing gowns, towels, washing facilities including shower gels, shampoo and conditioner are provided and are included in the price of the retreat. The entire property is secure and protected.

The Maple Tree

Maple Tree Gite offers two bedrooms (one bedroom has a characteristic low threshold so be mindful when going in/out). There is one room with a double bed and the other is a bit smaller with adult sized bunk beds. It boasts an open plan lounge/diner/kitchen with a sofa bed sleeps one person. This gite has a private entrance to the communal kitchen where a lot of our activities will be carried out.

The Lime Tree

Lime Tree Gite offers one room with a double bed. It too boasts an open plan lounge/diner/kitchen with a sofa bed sleeps one person.
(sleeps up to 3 guests comfortably)

The following menu options are based on a Vegan Menu

Please note.... if you are not vegan and would prefer to have fish/dairy/meat products added this can be adapted at NO extra cost to you. Let me know at time of booking so that the ingredients can be bought ready for your arrival.
Gluten free options are available.
You really are in for a treat - when it comes to food nobody knows better than our hostess - Sarah who is a fantastic chef (once you see what she has prepared you will totally understand what I mean).
The following menus are what you can expect during your stay with us.

About the food - Breakfast

Hot options will include hash browns, baked tomatoes stuffed with wild mushrooms, avocado on toast, beans in homemade tomato sauce.

Evening meals

Starters :

Caramelised parsnip and coconut soup with parsnip bhajis - Lightly spiced, coconut creamy soup served with gluten free parsnip bhajis and topped with coriander microgreens.
Pan-roasted asparagus with wild garlic and white bean hummus, spring onion and walnut pesto - Using wild garlic from our garden, walnuts from the perigord region and of course French asparagus, there are not many air miles to this delightful seasonal fresh starter.
Tempura vegetables with paper of raw vegetables - A selection of spring vegetables in the lightest tempura batter, a citrusy sweet & sour dip and a powerful wasabi pesto.
Cauliflower kimchi pancakes with sprout slaw - With the cauliflower leaves making the Kimchi, nothing goes to waste in this delightful vegan super dish, a nutty sprout slaw to top it perfectly.
Cherry Tomato Gazpacho - A hot climate produces the best tomatoes, so we could not leave out the Spanish classic using the finest quality locally grown ingredients, topped with a beautiful basil oil & microgreens.

Evening main course

Main course options
Ras el hanout ratatouille with basil purée and tabbouleh - A classic French dish with a North African twist, the fresh feisty basil puree finishes this lightly spiced healthy plate to perfection.
Portobello mushroom Kievs with garlic béchamel - Needs no explanation. Served with a fresh crisp salad and just enough garlic to keep the vampires out of the hot tub.
Vegan massaman curry - We have to have a curry, being a Brummie chef.... so here's my favourite. Paired with brown rice, kale, carrot and kimchi pickle and a sprinkling of omega-packed seeds to form a truly delicious Buddha Bowl.
Vegan mushroom, chestnut and thyme pithivier - A hearty meal following a busy day, served with gorgeous roasted seasonal veg.
Cold cucumber and shirataki noodle salad with hot Sichuan sesame dressing - With the musky tanginess from black rice vinegar, creamy nuttiness from the sesame paste, and salty soy sauce, the dressing is a perfect balance of punchy flavours.

What's NOT included

All travel arrangements will need to be organised by yourself (I have included the suggested flight details above for reference) and I also would recommend you take out travel insurance incase of any illness that prevents you from traveling.
The following items can be paid for locally on site:
Full Reiki sessions, Symphony of Cells sessions or Aromatouch sessions can be booked during free time.
Hire of the bikes can be booked during free time.
Picnic hamper during free time can be ordered the day before.
Alcoholic beverages, however, these can be purchased from the little onsite shop.

The last opportunity to book will be May 24th 2023 with payment in full to be required at this time.

Once you are ready to secure your space a non refundable deposit of £250 will be required. This to be paid by bank transfer (all bank details will be provided at the time of booking).

I understand that plans can be disrupted. If you are unable to attend for any reason and are able to sell your place (or gift it) to another female, please let me know as soon as possible and i'll be happy to transfer your booking over to the new recipient.

Remaining Balance

The remaining balance is due no later than 13th May 2023.
